چکیده
We study the energy-momentum tensor of spherically symmetric $U(1)$ gauged Q-ball configurations in two-component Fridberg-Lee-Sirlin-Maxwell model, and one-component scalar model with a sextic potential. evaluate distributions corresponding shear forces pressure stability criteria for these solutions. present results numerical simulations both models, explicitly demonstrating that electrostatic repulsion may destabilize Q-balls. However, limiting case long ranged real component, Q-balls always remain stable.

Gauged Q ball in a piecewise parabolic potential
Q ball solutions are considered within the theory of a complex scalar field with a gauged U(1) symmetry and a parabolic-type potential. In the thin-walled limit, we show explicitly that there is a maximum size for these objects because of the repulsive Coulomb force. The size of Q ball will increase with the decrease of local minimum of the potential. And when the two minima degenerate, the ene...
متن کاملEntwinement in discretely gauged theories
We develop the notion of “entwinement” to characterize the amount of quantum entanglement between internal, discretely gauged degrees of freedom in a quantum field theory. This concept originated in the program of reconstructing spacetime from entanglement in holographic duality. We define entwinement formally in terms of a novel replica method which uses twist operators charged in a representa...
متن کاملLarge Gauged Q Balls
We study Q-balls associated with local U(1) symmetries. Such Q-balls are expected to become unstable for large values of their charge because of the repulsion mediated by the gauge force. We consider the possibility that the repulsion is eliminated through the presence in the interior of the Q-ball of fermions with charge opposite to that of the scalar condensate. Another possibility is that tw...
متن کاملA Global Stability Criterion for Scalar Functional Differential Equations
We consider scalar delay differential equations x′(t) = −δx(t)+f(t, xt) (∗) with nonlinear f satisfying a sort of negative feedback condition combined with a boundedness condition. The well-known Mackey–Glass-type equations, equations satisfying the Yorke condition, and equations with maxima all fall within our considerations. Here, we establish a criterion for the global asymptotical stability...
متن کاملBrane Q-ball, branonium and brane Q-ball inflation
We consider a time-dependent brane configuration that corresponds to the Q-ball in the effective Lagrangian. We discuss the brane Q-balls, branonium and brane Q-ball inflation, which might have the same origin. We show the allowed parameter regions for these configurations. It is shown that the brane Q-ball looks similar to a conventional Q-ball when it is large, but its decay is dominated by t...
